Adam Randall switched from Wide Receiver to Running Back in 2025 to help Clemson find a new starting Running Back, and he started slow but ended up playing the position really well. That being said, his draft stock was not anything spectacular when the season ended but according to ESPN analyst Jordan Reid he believes that Randall will be an “absolute steal” for whoever lands him.
Jordan Reid praised Adam Randall saying, “Leaving Clemson Pro Day. My biggest takeaway? Some team is going to get an absolute steal in RB Adam Randall.”
Adam Randall ran for 814 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2025, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. He also was an excellent receiving threat out of the backfield, as he was a former Wide Receiver, as he had 254 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. One critique is that he struggled blocking, multiple times he missed assignments but on the upside he did not fumble once in 2025.
Adam Randall is only going to improve at Running Back and I do believe he has the potential of being a starting Running Back in the NFL if he continues to improve as he stepped up and quickly was able to transition to the position. Now any team that gets him can utilize him in many areas as he was a Receiver, Running Back and a Special Teams guy who returned kickoffs. I do believe whatever team gets him will get a steal especially if he goes late in the draft.
